2026 Registration is now open!

Classes:  All classes will run for 4 days: Monday through Thursday with make-ups scheduled on an individual basis.

Scheduling:
My registration process has changed for this upcoming season. This year, you will be required to pay your non-refundable $25 per child/per session deposit at the beginning of registration in order to hold your spot. Once my registration goes live, you will just need to click on the registration button on my website and you will be taken to the payment link. You will be asked how many kids and how many sessions you are interested in. (If for some reason you have more than one child and the number of sessions isn't the same; ie: Older child needs one session and younger child needs 2 sessions, then you can adjust the drop down boxes to get the right total amount. The total is the most important part). Once this is complete, you will be taken to my Google Form to fill out. You will have the opportunity to ask questions and make requests at the end of the Google form. Only IF I am not able to get you into your first or second session choice, I am happy to refund your deposit. The remainder of your tuition will be due in cash on the first day of class.

Unfortunately in years past, I have spent tons and tons of hours chasing down deposits, only to have people later cancel and still not pay, or even ghost me. That process took up too many valuable man hours and made it difficult to get my assigned times out to you in a timely fashion. With this change, I will be able to put together each session's schedule and forward it to you much earlier. This will hopefully help in managing swim lessons around any other summer activities.

Make-ups: Make-ups are not a guarantee.  It is always my goal to provide exceptional experiences.  I have been very lenient in the past as I work extremely hard to please everyone.  However, it can be very difficult to fit in several make-up classes each week when my sessions are so busy.  I understand that life happens.  And because of that, I will evaluate requests for make-ups on an individual basis.
Cancellation policy: If you have started the class already and you decide it is not a "good fit" for your child, there will be no refund.  Please read about my lessons before you sign up.  Feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns ahead of time.

Reflection of a very common concern made to me: I am concerned that since my child is scared of lessons, (s)he will develop a fear of the water:  Kids will hate what they are afraid of. Until they know how to be safe around the water, they will be scared.  If you just stay persistent, they will not be afraid forever.  It can take more than one summer, too.  It is not easy.  Kids don't always like it.  But we make our kids do things they do not like all the time for safety's sake.  Most kids do not like wearing a seatbelt, getting immunizations, eating vegetables or going to school.  But we make them do it because we know what is best for them and want them to grow up safe and healthy.  Learning to be safe in the water is no different except it is a little harder to watch.  BUT, if we can allow them to be successful in this environment, they will know they can be successful anywhere.  They learn so much more than how to swim.  They will learn perseverance, confidence, bravery, problem-solving skills, critical thinking skills, communication skills, exercise, focus, respect, taking on challenges, safety and so much more.
